This course offers everything you need to know about your potential customer. Every other courses of Entrepreneurship courses I learn how to some up with idea, testing the hypothesis, validating it, meeting the goals and starting up. But this is different, totally different. Yes, it has a valid reason, for all the ideas and business models and funding/investments worthless if you DO NOT HAVE A PAYING CUSTOMER. !!!!!!! Course had 8 weeks- Week 1: Introduction Week 2: Market Segmentation Week 3: Beachhead Market Week 4: End User Profile Week 5: Total Addressable Market Size Week 6: Profile the Persona Week 7: Conclusion |
My view about the Course
Personally I do not like edX platform( because I have had better.. i,e. Coursera , NovoEd. Iversity had better) Mainly because it looks like a application software than a web platform. - Navigating through videos are very inconvenient. ( yes you need to go through demo course.to see what functionalists, its not common and it is not a good idea to deviate from common in usability!!! - Use of forums are very very very demotivating interface, really hard to track of your contributions, replies and not so engagive at all. - Students do not maintain good profiles, it is really important as we need to collaborate and learn when Learning I always like to know the students background and areas of interest..how to contact them ect.. About course 15.390X I would say really good content. It is not the best effective learning experience, but sure the content was so rich and powerful. I loved the contemporary pictures of daily /weekly mails. I loved the interviews of the Entrepreneurs, how they came up with idea, what is there customer how it looked like..ect.. Content was so practical and meaningful. Only interactive point was the twetter , but it was 100% responsive, I felt live with that. But lacked Collaboration, teamwork, the ways to learn from other peers, (forums were not effective to me) |
